Welcome Message

from the Chief Executive Officer

On behalf of the Wages and Compensation Commission (WCC), I am honored to welcome you to our official website. This platform is more than just an information hub, it is a reflection of our commitment to transparency, accountability, and service to the people of Sierra Leone. The establishment of the WCC is a direct demonstration of H.E. President Dr. Julius Maada Bio’s vision and commitment to national development, as outlined in the Big Five Game Changers. In particular, our mandate strongly supports the agenda of Revamping the Public Service Architecture, which seeks to build an efficient, professional, and motivated public sector that can deliver quality services to all citizens. Guided by the Wages and Compensation Commission Act, 2023, we are tasked with harmonizing and regulating salaries, wages, pensions, and allowances across the public service. This important reform reduces disparities, promotes equity, and enhances efficiency, laying the foundation for a fair and sustainable compensation system that motivates workers and strengthens governance.

This website will serve as a gateway for citizens, employees, and stakeholders to learn more about our policies, reforms, and progress.

Thank you for visiting.
